International Guide Dog Day is held annually on the last Wednesday in April as a day to recognise and celebrate the work that Guide Dogs do all around the world.
Guide Dogs Day is a Giving Day activity created by Guide Dogs SA/NT. It is a fundraising event to raise funds and awareness to support the raising and training of Guide Dogs in South Australia and in the Northern Territory.
A pool of generous partners will match donations as part of Guide Dogs Day 2026 (29 April) dollar for dollar, meaning the impact of your donation is doubled! Until funds run out. Maximum donation match amount is $5000.
If the matching pool is exhausted before the end of Giving Day, donations are still warmly welcomed. Donations made after matching ends continue to support Guide Dogs SA/NT to ensure people living with low vision, blindness and other specialised needs can live with freedom and independence.
